Mackex Services provided Level 2 ASP electrical service connection works for Jordan Springs High School, delivering the primary electrical supply connection from Endeavour Energy’s distribution network for this new Department of Education school in Sydney’s Penrith local government area.
Works encompassed the complete underground service connection from the street reticulation network to the school’s main electrical switchboard, including HV consumer mains installation, metering and protection equipment, and all Endeavour Energy approval and inspection coordination. Mackex delivered the connection on a time-critical programme aligned to the school’s construction completion and fit-out schedule.
Jordan Springs is a large master-planned community with multiple active development fronts. Coordinating the school’s HV connection amid surrounding residential infrastructure works required careful cable route planning to avoid conflicts with other developer assets. Endeavour Energy’s inspection and design approval process was managed in parallel with the construction programme to prevent delays to the school’s opening date. Trenching through the developing streetscape required liaison with multiple authorities.
