Mackex Services delivered a Level 2 ASP electrical service connection for the Coles supermarket at Schofields Village, a major retail development in Sydney’s north-west growth corridor. Works provided a new underground HV service connection from the Endeavour Energy network to serve the anchor tenant’s substantial load requirements.
The project encompassed design and installation of the HV consumer mains from the street network to the centre’s electrical infrastructure, including underground cable installation, consumer mains jointing and termination, metering equipment installation and Endeavour Energy connection coordination. Mackex managed all technical documentation and inspection hold points required under the Level 2 ASP licence framework.
Delivering the electrical connection in parallel with an active construction programme at the retail centre required careful coordination with the head contractor’s construction sequence. HV cable routing through the developing site required interfaces with civil, structural and hydraulic trades. Endeavour Energy’s connection approval and inspection programme was managed against the retail fit-out programme to ensure energisation was achieved ahead of the store’s opening date.
